hilary works as a stylist on lifestyle and interior shoots and local interior design projects. hilary is also a long term foster mum, 11 years and counting, a gardener and meadow keeper.

hilary has lived in pembrokeshire for 16 years, after a long design career in london.

hilary lowe’s career has encompassed product design, pr, interior design, retailing and lifestyle styling.

after travelling the world for quite a few years, in 1992 hilary launched a wholesale business to supply interior designers and stores with goods she sourced from around the globe alongside products designed and made in vietnam and cambodia. clients included selfridges, designers guild, barneys ny, browns, the cross and many others.

in 1999 hilary became the interior stylist for the style section of the sunday times, forecasting and styling interior trends, commissioning photographers, locations and models as well as a weekly shopping page. she also renovated and interior designed many properties throughout london for a young client base.

in 2003 she went freelance and worked with all the glossy titles including living etc, delicious, coast, easy living and elle decoration alongside regular commissions from the sunday times and you magazine. hilary also worked for corporate clients such as m&s, laura ashley, the iron bed company, swarovski, olay, body shop, sainsbury’s and wedgwood.

in 2008 hilary moved to pembrokeshire and continued with styling projects for companies such as elanbach fabrics. in 2010 hilary set up damson & slate, designing textiles and sourcing vintage goods alongside her styling work on photo shoots and working on individual interior projects.
